What is the Rehabilitation Robot?

The rehabilitation robot is used in the process for improving the ability of persons with disabilities to achieve optimal physical, sensory, intellectual, psychological, as well as social functioning levels. There are two types of rehabilitation robots: one is the therapeutic robot used to treat patients, and the other is the assistive robot that helps people with their daily activities.

What is the Rehabilitation Robot Business Support Project?

The Rehabilitation Robot Business Support Center selects outstanding rehabilitation robots annually and provides these robots to testbeds for clinical application and improvement. The testbeds are chosen from among the relevant organizations such as rehabilitation hospitals. The Rehabilitation Robot Business Support Center supports the promotion of the rehabilitation robot business and improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and senior citizens.

Goal of the Rehabilitation Robot Business Support Center of Korea

In order to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and senior citizens, the Rehabilitation Robot Business Support Center supports the testbed operation of the therapeutic rehabilitation robot and daily living assistive robot, and promotes the market and competitiveness of the robots.
